How CargoGenix works

From "I have cargo" to "It's delivered"

Same five-step flow for every mode. Different forms, different carriers — same trustworthy escrow + tracking on top.

The shipper's journey

Five steps from "I have cargo to move" to "payment released, on to the next one."

1

Post your shipment

Pick a mode, fill out the right fields for that mode, set a bidding deadline. Takes under 5 minutes.

2

Receive competitive bids

Verified carriers compete for your business. You see price breakdowns, transit times, and ratings — and can chat with bidders before you pick.

3

Accept & pay (held in escrow)

When you accept a bid, your payment is held by Stripe — not released to the carrier until delivery is confirmed.

4

Cargo moves

Carrier picks up, you track every milestone. AWB / BOL auto-generated. Messaging, documents, GPS updates — all on platform.

5

Confirm delivery, payment releases

Carrier uploads proof of delivery (photo + signature). You have 24 hours to inspect. After that, escrow auto-releases — or you confirm early.

Skip the wait

Step 2, the fast way: a CargoGenix Instant Quote

Don't want to wait for the bidding window? On air and trucking lanes, CargoGenix sources live rates across our carrier network and posts its own competitive, all-in quote on your shipment. Accept it and skip straight to step 3 — or leave it and compare against carrier bids. Either way, the same escrow and tracking carry you to delivery.

Mode-specific forms, mode-specific carriers

We don't make you pretend a 40ft container is air cargo. Each mode collects exactly the right info, then matches you with carriers who actually run that lane.

End-to-end

Door-to-door, even across modes

When your shipment needs more than one mode — say, truck pickup, then air, then last-mile delivery — post a single multi-modal job and let a freight forwarder handle the entire route.

Example: 3 pallets, Chicago warehouse → London office
First-mile pickup
Trucking — FTL · Chicago warehouse → ORD airport
Air freight
Air · ORD → LHR
Last-mile delivery
Trucking — FTL · LHR airport → London office
